Damn, that just happened, POW!:
Gotta go with Iowa's interception to beat Penn St.  Nothing like knocking off an undefeated.

I'll try to post some Games to Watch later, but I'm in work up to my eyeballs....

  25. Maryland (6-2)
Player of the week:  Graham Harrell

Games to Watch:
#8 Utah vs #12 TCU (11/6, 7:00, CSTV) -- I've got a funny feeling that TCU will put an end to Utah's BCS hopes.
#11 Ohio State @ #24 Northwestern (11/8, 11:00)
#19 North Carolina vs #20 Georgia Tech (11/8, 11:00)
#22 Florida State vs Clemson (11/8, 2:30) -- This is Clemson's chance to show they're moving forward and Bobby's chance to spank Clemson for misbehavin' towards his son.
Virginia @ Wake Forest (11/8, 2:30) -- The ACC is still up for grabs and either one of these teams would love a piece of the action.
#1 Alabama @ #16 LSU (11/8, 2:30, CBS) -- Alabama looks to clinch the SEC West while LSU is hoping to give a "proper" cajun welcome to their former coach.
#25 West Virginia vs Cincinnati (11/8, 7:00, ESPNU) -- Last week Cinci knocked off South Florida, this week they hope to take down the Mountaineers.
#2 Texas Tech vs #9 Oklahoma State (11/8, 7:00) -- Can Tech hold on after upsetting Texas?  The Cowboys will be looking to throw more mud into the Big XII South picture.
#7 USC vs #21 California (11/8, 7:00, ABC) -- This game may prove to be one of the better PacTen match-ups, but then it may not.

TBDPITL: Week 9 (10.27.08)

  1. Alabama (8-0)
  2. Texas (8-0)
  3. Pennsylvania State (9-0)
  4. Texas Tech (8-0)
  5. Utah (9-0)
  6. Oklahoma State (7-1)
  7. Georgia (7-1)
  8. Oklahoma (7-1)
  9. Florida (6-1)
  10. Texas Christian (8-1)
  11. Southern California (6-1)
  12. Ohio State (6-2)
  13. Michigan State (7-2)
  14. Boise State (7-0)
  15. BYU (7-1)
  16. Missouri (6-2)
  17. Louisiana State (5-2)
  18. Georgia Tech (6-2)
  19. Ball State (8-0)
  20. Tulsa (8-0)
  21. Minnesota (6-2)
  22. South Florida (6-2)
  23. Kansas (5-3)
  24. Oregon (6-2)
  25. North Carolina (6-2)

Player of the Week:  Graham Harrell, Texas Tech.  This kid is picking a very opportune time to hit his stride.

Games to Watch:

#23 South Florida @ Cincinatti (10/30, 6:30, ESPN) - This is a must win for Cincinnati if they want to keep their chance at a Big East Championship alive.
Wisconsin @ #21 Michigan State (11/1, 11:00) - Wisconsin is out of the Big Ten Title Hunt and they can't take Michigan State out with upset in Lansing.
West Virginia @ #25 U Conn (11/1, 11:00) - West Virginia revived their season with a win over a hapless Auburn.  Although not ranked, they are in the driver's seat to win the Big East.
#18 Tulsa @ Arkansas (11/1, 1:00) - This may be Tulsa's toughest game of the season, which is why they won't make the BCS cut.
#24 Oregon @ Cal (11/1, 2:30, ABC) - This battle between 1-loss (in conference) Pac10 teams will determine who's ready to spring to the top if USC stumbles....again....
#8 Florida vs #6 Georgia (11/1, 2:30, CBS) - The first marquee match-up this Saturday.  This game will decide who wins the SEC East and possibly faces Bama in Atlanta on Dec 6th.
#1 Texas @ #7 Texas Tech (11/1, 7:00, ABC) - The second marquee match-up this Saturday.  Texas has played great football the past several weeks, but that intensity is hard to maintain.  Texas Tech hopes to treat the home crowd to an upset special.

TBDPITL: Week 7 (10.13.08)

  1. Alabama (6-0)
  2. Texas (6-0)
  3. Pennslyvania State (7-0)
  4. Texas Tech (6-0)
  5. Utah (7-0)
  6. BYU (6-0)
  7. Oklahoma State (6-0)
  8. Georgia (5-1)
  9. Oklahoma (5-1)
  10. Southern California (4-1)
  11. Florida (5-1)
  12. Boise State (5-0)
  13. Georgia Tech (5-1)
  14. Missouri (5-1)
  15. Ohio State (5-1)
  16. Virginia Tech (6-1)
  17. Louisiana State (4-1)
  18. Michigan State (6-1)
  19. Ball State (7-0)
  20. North Carolina (5-1)
  21. Vanderbilt (5-1)
  22. Kansas (5-1)
  23. Texas Christian (6-1)
  24. Cincinatti (5-1)
  25. South Florida (5-1)
Player of the Week:  Colt McCoy - Pure heart may not always win games but it will always help win the close ones.

Games to watch:
#2 North Alabama @ #10 Delta State (10/16, 7:00, CSS) - The defending Gulf South Conference champs Delta State (5-1, 4-0) host the only other GSC team that is undefeated in conference play, North Alabama (7-0, 5-0), in a Division II top 10 battle.  No one has been able to stop North Alabama's juggernaut of an offense this season and the Lions are looking to avenge their post-season loss to the Statesmen that ended their 2007 season.
#9 BYU @ TCU
(10/16, 7:00) - BYU is looking to keep their BCS hopes alive but have come up against a quietly succeeding TCU team whose only loss came against a solid Oklahoma squad.  This may prove to be BYU's last major hurdle before meeting Utah in their final regular season game.
Florida State @ North Carolina State (10/16, 6:30, ESPN) - Although neither team is ranked, Florida State still has ACC Championship hopes.  The Wolfpack has seen their dream season crumble over the past few weeks, but a win over Bowden's squad would be quite a boost.
#21 Wake Forest @ Maryland (10/18, 11:00) - Wake Forest looks to climb another rung on the ladder to the ACC Championship game and Maryland is looking to prove they are still on that same road.  The Terps dashed Clemson's hopes, will they do the same to Wake?
#12 Ohio State @ #20 Michigan State (10/18, 2:30, ABC) - Ohio State wants to prove they still rule the Big Ten while Michigan State wants to do what the other team from Ann Arbor hasn't been able to the past few years.
#17 Virginia Tech @ Boston College (10/18, 7:00) - This is the beginning of a conference play gauntlet for Virginia Tech while BC is looking to stay alive.
#11 Missouri @ #1 Texas (10/18, 7:00, ABC) - In the ever changing rankings landscape, this game still looms monumental.  Texas staked their claim to the Big XII title win a win over South division rival Oklahoma while Missouri fell to Oklahoma State, also from the South.  A win by Missouri would prove the North can contend, but Chase will need much better protection than he was afforded last Saturday.
